Academic advising at ��ϳԹ� is an educational partnership. You'll work with advisors to develop a plan to achieve your academic and career goals while making informed and increasingly independent decisions.

��ϳԹ� advisors strive to empower you to become engaged in your own academic success.

Who is my advisor?

��ϳԹ� has program faculty advisors and academic advisors. You will be assigned an advisor based on your program of study. You can easily find your advisor's name on your SpartanNet homepage.

To maximize academic advising:

Become familiar with your program plan (it's listed on your program page)
Review your degree audit to see which courses you need to complete your degree
Search the class schedule to select courses you'd like to take
Examine your academic interests and clarify your career goals before and during your appointment
Research transfer college options
Prepare questions to ask at your appointment
Schedule and keep advising appointments

Meet an advisor online. For online meeting times, log in to SpartanNet and check under "Virtual Student Support--Advising."

During the busiest times of the semester, academic advisors will meet with you on a first-come, first-serve drop-in or call-in basis. Advisors also are available throughout the semester for quick questions during designated drop-in/call-in times.
