The most current version of the Microsoft Office Pro Plus suite is available as a free download for all º£½ÇÉçÇøºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï faculty and staff within the Office 365 Application Portal.Downloading the software allows faculty and staff to install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access on up to five personal PCs, tablets and mobile devices. Macs are eligible only for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Step 1Go to: https://login.microsoftonline.com. Sign in with your username: yourstarid@minnstate.edu.Use your StarID password.Once you are logged in, you will see a menu option for Install Apps (located at the right side of your screen).Note: Your email address has not changed; it is still firstname.lastname@minnesota.edu.You will be able to log back into your Microsoft account any time at https://login.microsoftonline.com (bookmark or save this address) and use any of the Office applications either in the cloud or by downloading them onto additional devices. Your login to the Office 365 site will be yourstarid@minnstate.edu and your current StarID password.Step 2Click to choose the Install Apps option on the right, click the first option Office 365 Apps.Follow the on-screen instructions and click run when prompted.Continue following the on-screen steps.Note: Do NOT go offline or disconnect from the internet during this process or while Office is installing in the background.Step 3If prompted for a username and password to sign in, you will enter the same credentials as above, yourstarid@minnstate.edu and your current StarID password.Wondering if your device meets the minimum requirements?
