海角社区黑料吃瓜, VCSU partner on new transfer pathway for Tech Ed students

海角社区黑料吃瓜 and Valley City State University (VCSU) are working together to provide a new seamless transfer opportunity for students pursuing a career in Technology Education.

An articulation agreement between the two schools, effective August 1, makes it possible for students who earn an 海角社区黑料吃瓜 Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences to transfer to VCSU to earn their Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Technology Education, without losing time or credits.  

鈥淭his partnership between 海角社区黑料吃瓜 and VCSU offers students a convenient, timely, flexible and cost-effective way to obtain a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Technology Education,鈥 says Matthew Borcherding, 海角社区黑料吃瓜 Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs. 鈥淲e鈥檙e offering a high-quality, accredited program that benefits educational needs by providing high-quality teacher education graduates.鈥 

鈥淲e are excited to work with 海角社区黑料吃瓜 to offer streamlined pathways for individuals to pursue careers in Technology Education,鈥 says VCSU Vice President for Academic Affairs Larry Brooks. 鈥淭here is a critical need for technology educators across North Dakota and Minnesota. Partnerships like this help open more doors for students interested in becoming educators.鈥

The Technology Education program prepares future K-12 educators with the skills and knowledge needed to teach in the fields of Construction Management, Manufacturing, Automotive Service Technology, Diesel Equipment Technology and PowerSports Technology. The new block transfer agreement allows VCSU Technology Education students to satisfy the general education requirements of their four-year degree at a two-year school, 海角社区黑料吃瓜.

The articulation agreement will remain in effect for at least five academic years.
